FLATIRON — A 29-year-old Brooklyn woman jumped 20 stories to her death from a rooftop bar on Monday night.

Faigy Mayer, of Borough Park, leaped off the north ledge of 230 Fifth at 6:40 p.m. and landed on 27th Street, where she was pronounced dead 10 minutes later, officials said.

Police said the incident appeared to be a suicide, but it's still being investigated.

The rooftop bar was open to revelers at the time and witnesses told the New York Post that the woman rushed through the crowd before leaping from the building.

An employee contacted at the bar, located at 230 Fifth Ave., declined to comment.

Mayer worked as an iOS developer and founded her own company, Appton, earlier this year, according to business partner Melton Sharpe.

"It's quite the shock", said Sharpe, who met Mayer at an industry event several years ago and later became her business partner. "It came out of nowhere. I didn't know what she was going through.

"She was a good person," he continued.

Mayer was an active member of the development community and started a company to build her own apps, Sharpe said. She was working on multiple apps, including an "Ex-Hasid's Guide to NYC" and a parking app, according to Appton's website.

Mayer was raised in the Borough Park's Hasidic community but identified as an ex-Hasid, Sharpe explained. She was featured in a National Geographic documentary about the faith in 2012.

A funeral service was held for Mayer on Tuesday afternoon at Shomrei Hadas Chapel in Borough Park.
