QUEENS — A group of men used a gun to force their way into a 60-year-old woman's apartment, tossing her to the ground and stealing cash, police said.
Five men, all approximately 25 years old, entered the victim's apartment July 7 at 4:50 p.m., according to the NYPD.
The suspects showed a gun and threw her to the ground, which caused minor injuries to her arm, officials said.
When they got inside, they broke into a locked file cabinet inside a bedroom in the apartment and took an undetermined amount of cash, police said.
They then fled in a black SUV.
Her exact address or neighborhood was not released, but it was within the confines of the 115th Precinct, which covers East Elmhurst, North Corona and Jackson Heights, police said.
