PROSPECT-LEFFERTS GARDENS — A man slashed his female companion in the neck with a machete after the pair’s pot-smoking session went sour.

The 45-year-old woman and the man were smoking pot at an apartment at 580 Flatbush Ave. in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens in the early morning hours of July 4, police said. When the man told her to leave around 6:30 a.m., the pair got into an argument.

A short time later, the man took out the machete and slashed the woman multiple times in the neck, police said.

The woman suffered minor injuries and fled the apartment.

It’s unclear if the apartment belonged to the man, officials said. He was still at large as of Wednesday, police said.

Other notable crimes in this week’s blotter from the 71st Precinct in Crown Heights and Prospect-Lefferts Gardens include:

► A 20-year-old woman suffered minor injuries when three unknown suspects, one female and two males, threw a rock from scaffolding on 665 New York Ave. near Hawthorne Street around 8 p.m. on July 1. The woman suffered scrapes on the left side of her face and the suspects fled.

► A 38-year-old woman working at Tian Bao Liquors at 471 Albany Ave. was attacked by a male customer who threw his receipt and pen to the ground after buying a bottle of liquor around 5:40 p.m. on Thursday, July 2. When the woman went to pick it up, he hit her with a door inside the shop, punched her in the eye multiple times and fled.

► Vandals broke into P.S. 91 on Albany and East New York avenues some time between July 3 and 4, police said. The suspects threw paint around three empty classrooms, rummaged through teacher’s desks and damaged a soda machine in the teacher’s lounge.

► A 26-year-old woman was robbed at knifepoint by a man on a northbound Q train between 1:30 and 3:30 a.m. on July 5. The man threatened the woman with a black-handled knife after she got on the train at the Parkside station, making off with her wallet, which contained multiple credit cards, $20 in cash, her social security cards and birth certificate, she told police. He also stole her cellphone and keys. The suspect fled at the Prospect Park station.

► A 27-year-old woman was slashed in the arm with a razorblade at the Violet Nail Beauty Salon at 700 Flatbush Ave. near Winthrop Street around 4:30 p.m. on July 6. Police said the altercation came after an argument between the victim and the suspect, but it’s unclear if either was a customer or worker at the salon or what their relationship is to each other.

► A man walking near President Street and Schenectady Avenue witnessed two men fire handguns at a gray Nissan S.U.V. around 9 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7. No one was injured by the gunfire, though police recovered two .25 caliber bullets at the scene of the reported shooting.
