QUEENS — The man whose body parts were found in a black duffel bag this spring was murdered, according to the Medical Examiner.

The remains of Westerley Osson, 26, were initially discovered on March 30 around 12 p.m. in a black duffel bag along the shoreline at 14-52 Gipson St. in Bayswater near Motts Basin, police said.

It was unclear how Osson died at the time, but on Wednesday, the Medical Examiner ruled that it was a homicide.

There have been no arrests yet, and the investigation is ongoing, according to police.
