CROWN HEIGHTS — Three men robbed a 46-year-old man on a street corner, reaching into his pockets to take $1,280 in cash before using his Jeep as a getaway car, police say.

The victim was walking to his car, a red Jeep SUV, at 10 p.m. May 20 at the corner of Bedford Avenue and Carroll Street, when three men walked up to him, stole $1,280 in cash from his pants pockets and then stole his car, which held his laptop.

Some of the suspects fled in a separate blue SUV.
