BROOKLYN — A 54-year-old man killed himself Wednesday after shooting his wife and stepson in their East New York home, police said.
The man was fighting with his 64-year-old wife and 23-year-old stepson in their Pennsylvania Avenue home, near Vandalia Avenue, about 1:20 a.m. when he pulled out a gun and shot them, injuring them both, an NYPD spokesman said.
One bullet grazed his wife's head and another hit his stepson in the torso, police said.
He then turned the gun on himself, an NYPD spokesman said. None of their names were immediately released.
The mother and son were treated at Brookdale Hospital and were in stable condition, police said.
It was not immediately clear what sparked the fight, an NYPD spokesman said.
