CARROLL GARDENS — A man was caught with drugs and hundreds of dollars worth of condoms at a CVS pharmacy in Carroll Gardens Tuesday afternoon, police said.

Maxim Fedotov tried to take 21 boxes of Trojan condoms, worth a total of about $417, about 1 p.m. on March 3 at 395 Court St. near Second Place, police said.

When Fedotov attempted to leave the CVS location with the condom boxes in his bag, a store employee grabbed and held him until police arrived, according to the NYPD and a criminal complaint from the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office

Police also found a glass pipe that allegedly had crack cocaine residue on it, authorities said.

Fedotov, who was born in 1988, was arrested at 1:37 p.m. and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, petit larceny, criminal use of drugs and criminal possession of stolen property, police said.

“We would defer to the police for any comment as these are criminal matters,” a spokesman for CVS said.

Fedotov was arrested four times in 2014 and 2015, court records show.

He was arrested on July 18 and Dec. 3 last year for criminal possession of a controlled substance and an arraignment charge respectively, according to court records.

He was also arrested on Feb. 5 this year for petit larceny and released on Feb. 17, according to records from the city’s Department of Correction.

Fedotov’s attorney information was not immediately available.

Other notable crimes in the 76th Precinct, according to police, include:

► A 24-year-old man was shot three times in the lobby of a Hicks Street building in Red Hook on Feb. 25 around 5 p.m., police said.

The man was visiting a friend in the building when he was shot twice in the lower abdomen and once in the upper left thigh by an unknown person who was wearing a mask, according to police.

The victim was taken to Lutheran Medical Center and is expected to survive, police said.
