BOERUM HILL — A French clothing boutique that opened in the neighborhood last year recently moved to a new location on Atlantic Avenue, the store manager said.

Anne Willi, named for the French fashion designer, relocated to a new space at 362 Atlantic Ave. between Bond and Hoyt streets last moonth after the lease expired at its former 47 Bergen St. store, manager Nicole Quarles said.

The new, roughly 400-square-foot shop is currently hosting Willi's spring/summer collection of women's clothing, French-made candles and accessories, Quarles said. The store will have select pieces on sale until March 15.

"Atlantic Avenue seems like it's becoming a destination for shopping," Quarles said, referring to the array of clothing stores, restaurants and boutiques on the stretch covering Cobble Hill and Boerum Hill.

The designer brand, which also has two stores in Paris, is "super simple and classic," Quarles explained, with both casual and business wear for women. The Anne Willi collection can also be found across Europe and in Japan.

Unlike the previous location, which wasn't open daily, Anne Willi will remain open every day from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Other fashion news in the neighborhood includes:

Rapisarda, a funky Cobble Hill boutique that sells jewelry, scarves, stationery, home decor and other trinkets, is closing after 12 years in the neighborhood, its owner said.

The shop, located at 177 Court St., will close on March 15, said owner Claudia Rapisarda, who added that she could not afford the space's new rent.

"It's a different world," said Rapisarda, who lives in Coble Hill.

Rapisarda is having a big sale to downsize its inventory before it closes this month. The store will continue to sell its wares online.

► Goldy + Mac closed its Cobble Hill location last weekend after its lease expired, an employee said. It specialized in "stylish clothing" at "affordable prices," according to its website.

Goldy + Mac will continue to operate its two locations in Park Slope.

The two closings were first reported by Pardon Me For Asking blog.
