EAST FLATBUSH — Police are asking for help in finding a hit-and-run driver who struck and killed a pedestrian in Brooklyn last weekend.

Alex Davis, 59, was a block from his home when he was hit by a gray 2013-2014 Ford Mustang at Rockaway Parkway and Clarkson Avenue around 2:20 a.m. Nov. 1, the NYPD said.

Davis, who was crossing mid-block between Clarkson Avenue and Winthrop Street when he was hit, was taken to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead, the NYPD said.

The vehicle sustained front-end damage and lost a chunk of its grille, police added.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
