BROOKLYN — Police are searching for a bevy of thieves who stole about $5,000 in men's clothing from a Barneys store in Cobble Hill last month, the NYPD said.
Eight men and one woman, who were caught on surveillance cameras, swiped clothes off the racks of the Barneys Co-Op at 194 Atlantic Ave. on Oct. 19 about 1:45 p.m. and stuffed them into their knapsacks before fleeing, according to police.
A manager at the store, located between Court and Clinton Streets, declined to comment.
Police sources added that the investigation is ongoing.
