The Bronx — A man driving the wrong way on a Major Deegan exit ramp was killed Tuesday morning after colliding with two vehicles, including a Department of Transportation dump truck, police said.

Douglas Kaplan, 63, was driving a green Toyota Camry when he smashed into a Honda Accord that was making a right turn onto Jerome Avenue at East 233rd Street around 7:10 a.m., police said.

The Camry then sideswiped the DOT vehicle and the driver was killed, the NYPD said.

It was not clear why the motorist, from Yonkers, was driving the wrong way, police said.

No criminality was suspected.
