THE BRONX — A man was shot to death during an argument on a Baychester sidewalk early Monday morning, police said.

Munachiso Okeagu, 55, was locked in a dispute outside 3406 Gunther Ave., near Tillotson Avenue, when the other man he was fighting shot him in the neck just after 1 a.m., police said.

Okeagu, who lived about seven blocks away, was taken to Jacobi Hospital and pronounced dead, police said.

The man who shot him remained at large as Wednesday morning, but investigators released a photo of a woman who they wanted to question in connection to the shooting, police said.

She was wearing a striped white dress with dark horizontal stripes close to the bottom hem. Her role, if any, was not immediately clear.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
