By Aidan Gardiner | August 15, 2017 8:23am

THE BRONX — An 18-year-old was arrested for manslaughter after killing a man who was fighting with his mom at their University Heights home , police said.

Luis Moux, 18, intervened when he saw Stanley Washington, 43, feuding with his mom, who was also Washington's girlfriend, inside their University Avenue apartment building near West 183rd Street about 4:30 a.m. Sunday, an NYPD spokeswoman said.

During the fracas, Washington, of Allerton, lost consciousness and was later pronounced dead at North Central Bronx Hopsital, police said.

It wasn't immediately clear what Moux did in the melee, but police charged him with manslaughter, they said.

Moux, who lives at the address with his mother, was awaiting arraignment Tuesday morning, records show.

His mother refused medical attention at the scene, police said.
