THE BRONX — A 77-year-old man pushing a wheelchair suffered a broken pelvis after he was thrown to the sidewalk by an attacker on an Allerton street Sunday, police said.

He was walking along Cruger Avenue near Mace Avenue when the suspect, who can be seen in police footage released Sunday, began talking to him about 7:30 a.m., the NYPD said.

The suspect then threw the older man to the ground, police said. It wasn't immediately clear why the suspect did so.

The suspect then picked the victim up and put him in the wheelchair, police said.

The victim wheeled himself away from the scene and went to an area hospital with internal bleeding, the NYPD said.

It’s unclear what they were discussing before, according to the NYPD.

The attacker is about 5-foot-11, 145- to 175 pounds. He was wearing a gray hooded sweater, red jacket and black pants, police said.

In the video, the suspect can be seen holding someone wearing a blue jacket, but it wasn't entirely clear what was happening or who the person in blue is.

Police didn't have further information.
