WOODLAWN — A local man was found dead in the middle of the street early Sunday, and appeared to have been fatally hit by a car, cops said.

Kevin Bell, 27, was found at 3:30 a.m. by police responding to a 911 call that was reporting a pedestrian had been hit on East 233rd Street at Oneida Avenue, police said.

Bell lived three blocks away from the crash, on East 235th Street, police said. No vehicle was found near the scene, and an investigation was ongoing.
