Man Steals Computer Monitor from MTA Bus Facility, Cops Said

ELTINGVILLE — Police are searching for a man suspected of breaking into an MTA bus facility and stealing a computer monitor last month.

On April 20, at 2:00 a.m., cops said the man forced his way into a locked office at the Eltingville Transit Center, on 2 Wainwright Ave., and took a set of keys. He used the keys to open a different office at the facility and stole a 25-inch HP computer monitor from it, police said.

The man fled then the scene, and no injuries were reported, cops said.

Police described the suspect as a 5’10’’, 175 pound male between the ages of 20 and 25 last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt and blue jeans.
