WAKEFIELD - A Bronx man died after being shot in the head at 12:07 a.m. Sunday morning in The Bronx, police said.
Cops in the 47th Precinct found Kevin Smith, 34, of West Farms with a gunshot wound to the head when they arrived to the shooting scene on White Plains Road and East 242 Street in Wakefield, officers said.
Paramedics transported Smith to Jacobi Hospital in Morris Park where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The investigation is ongoing, officers said. No arrests have been made.
