ROCKAWAYS — There will be two brief power interruptions in the Rockaways this weekend to repair electrical systems damaged during Hurricane Sandy, the Long Island Power Authority and the NYPD said.
Two five-minute outages will take place Saturday between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. The outages will affect Beach Channel Drive from 38th Street to Beach 56th Street, Rockaway Boulevard from Beach 54th Street to 68th Street and Beach 68th Street north of Rockaway Boulevard.
