QUEENS — Detectives converged on a vacant lot in the Rockaways Friday afternoon to investigate the grim discovery a badly decomposed body near a construction trailer, police said.
The corpse was found on Rockaway Boulevard near Beach 40th Street about a block from the elevated subway tracks, police said.
Authorities gave no additional details and said the investigation was ongoing.
