By Tom Liddy | March 6, 2013 2:30pm

NEW YORK CITY — It's a high note for Queens.

The Jackson Heights Orchestra is tuning up for its second performance next week, according to a neighborhood group.

The nascent musical organization, which aims to promote local talent, will be performing the Didone Overture from Piccinni and the Siegfried Idyll from Wagner during its performance on March 13, according to the Jackson Heights Beautification Group.

According to the orchestra, which says it has doubled in size since its first performance in December, reception will follow the show.

The performance will be held at the United Methodist Community Church at 35th Avenue and 81st Street at 7:30 p.m with a suggested donation of $10 and $5 for seniors and students.
