NEW YORK — An off-duty school safety officer was arrested in lower Manhattan Sunday night for allegedly threatening a woman, police said.
Douglas Parks, 64, was arrested at 10:40 p.m. and charged with aggravated harassment, police said. Police sources said he threatened the unidentified woman over the phone.
The relationship between the two was not immediately clear.
The Department of Education referred questions to the NYPD.
