EAST FLATBUSH — Gunfire at a baby shower left four people hurt Sunday night, police said.

The injured were attending a baby shower inside Remsen Hall at 375 Remsen Ave., near East 57th Street in East Flatbush, when they stepped outside about 8:30 p.m. and a fight broke out nearby, an NYPD spokesman said.

Surveillance footage from the venue shows four people standing outside the hall as two others pass by heading in opposite directions. After a few moments, they all quickly bend down or fall to the ground before fleeing.

"It had to be at least 15 or 16 shots," said neighbor Gloria Benjamin, 75.

"It lasted a couple seconds. It was loud. I was scared. I've heard gunshots before but never that many.

"I just pulled myself to the end of the bed and crunched myself up. I never want to hear anything like that again."

A 22-year-old man was hit in the chest and taken to Kings County Hospital along with a 22-year-old woman who was shot in the arm, police said.

Another man, 20, was hit in the shoulder and managed to bring himself to the same hospital, police said.

A 21-year-old man who had been shot in the leg was taken to Brookdale Hospital, police said.

All the victims were in stable condition, an NYPD spokesman said.

Two bullets also punctured the windshield of a parked car.

No arrests were made as of Monday morning, police said.
