Three Men Sought in Attempted Robbery of Bronx Subway Restaurant

THE BRONX — Police are looking for three men they say tried to rob a Subway restaurant on Boston Road in Baychester.

Two of the men sought went into the fast food joint at 3460 Boston Road around 8 p.m. on Sept. 19, and demanded money from the 17-year-old girl behind One of the would be robbers is described as the counter.

The victim refused and the pair tried to strong-arm her into handing over the cash, police said. 

The subway employee resisted and was able to break free.  The duo fled empty-handed along with their lookout, who was waiting outside the shop, police said.

The suspects are all approximately 18 to 22 years old. 

One of the would-be robbers is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, around 170 pounds  and wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt.

His accomplice inside the store wore a red hooded sweatshirt, a black and green baseball cap and a black ski mask.

Their alleged lookout is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds and was last seen wearing a black T-shirt.
