Cops Search for Subway Snatcher who Stole iPod, Headphones from 13-Year-Old

THE BRONX — Police are searching for a man wanted for snatching an iPod and headphones from a 13-year-old subway rider in the Bronx.

The victim was riding the 5 train in Williamsbridge around 3:30 p.m. on July 17, police said.

As the train pulled into the Gun Hill Road station near White Plains Road, the suspect snatched the teenager’s iPod and headphones and fled.

The suspect is described as a man in his early 20s, between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-9, wearing a blue-and-white shirt and with black hair pulled back into two shoulder-length braids.
