QUEENS—Cops are on the hunt for a man accused of robbing an Amalgamated Bank branch in Jackson Heights on Tuesday.
According to police, the 6 foot tall, 200-pound suspect, wearing a Yankees cap, walked to the teller in the bank at 78-01 37th Avenue about 3 p.m.
He passed a note to the teller while demanding money and then made off with an unspecified amount of cash, cops said.
No one was injured in the incident, authorities added.
The cops described the suspect as 35-years-old and was wearing a white striped shirt with sunglasses.
