QUEENS — Police arrested the man who allegedly forced a 64-year-old woman to the ground and raped her on a Rockaway Beach street early Sunday morning, the NYPD announced Wednesday.
Samuel Doctor, 22, was charged with rape, criminal sexual act and sexual abuse, police said. He was arrested at his home on Beach 96th Street in Rockaway Beach Wednesday morning, barely four blocks from the scene of the attack.
Police said the rape occurred at about 5:30 a.m. at the corner of Rockaway Beach Boulevard and Beach 91st Street.
