NEW YORK — A 53-year-old man was struck and killed by a subway train at Union Square Wednesday morning, officials said.

The victim was discovered about 9:30 a.m. on the roadbed of the Eighth Avenue-bound L line, police said.

Sources said he may have been urinating on the tracks when the train struck him.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, police and FDNY officials said.

Police did not suspect foul play in the incident.

The identity of the victim has not been released because cops were still trying to locate his family, police said Thursday.

The MTA alternated inbound and outbound trains on one track while officials investigated the death.
