QUEENS — Rescuers discovered the body of a woman in the waters off Breezy Point Sunday afternoon, police said.
Investigators said there was no foul play believed to be involved in the death of Ting Sun, 22, of Dyker Heights, but the Medical Examiner's office was set to determine the cause of death.
Emergency responders found Sun, 22, unresponsive near Bayside Drive about 4:50 p.m. Sunday. She was removed from the water and pronounced dead at the scene.
It was not immediately clear how she wound up in the water — there were no reports of her jumping into the water, police said.
The Medical Examiners office will determine the cause of death.
