BRONX — Two people have been arrested and charged with keeping a stash of weapons — including a MAC-10 and TEC-9 assault rifles — in their Williamsbridge apartment, police said Tuesday.
David Saunders, 45, and Olympia Striplin, 37, had six firearms and ammunition in their home at 659 E. 220th St., police said.
In addition to the assault weapons, cops found a .40-caliber handgun, two 9mm handguns and a .22-caliber handgun when they executed a search warrant Monday.
The relationship between Saunders and Striplin was not known, police said.
They were each charged with six counts of criminal possession of a weapon (loaded firearm), one count of criminal possession of a weapon (defaced), and two counts of criminal possession of stolen property.
