MANHATTAN — Beyonce is trading Blue Ivy for red carpet.
The Queen B will make her first appearance since giving birth to Blue Ivy Carter Jan. 7 at the grand reopening of hip-hop hubby Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club tonight, the Daily News reported.
The West 25th Street's club’s new $10 million renovation features four huge, 165-inch video screens and golden baseball bats which line the walls, according to the News.
“I wanted to retain the feel of a clubhouse, a relaxed place to interact with friends,” Jay-Z told the News.
The new club is open to the public, but VIPs can pay $1,000 for membership with preferred access to private rooms.
In an exclusive interview with the Daily News, Jay-Z refuted reports he wrote a poem to Blue Ivy Carter vowing to drop “b---h” from his word choice.
“That poem and story are fake,” Jay-Z said.
Meanwhile, local designer Joseph Mbeh has filed paperwork to start a children’s clothing line called “Blue Ivy Carter NYC.”
“We have a line of clothing which is an elite brand,” Mbeh, 35, told the News.
