MANHATTAN — Destiny's Child has a new name — Blue Ivy Carter.

Superstar songbird Beyonce gave birth to a bouncing baby girl at an Upper East Side hospital Saturday night, according to reports.

The "Single Ladies" singer — who is married to superstar rapper Jay-Z — and her loved ones welcomed the little bundle of joy in a private section of Lenox Hill Hospital, the Daily News said.

There was some confusion about the hip-hop princess's name. E! News initially reported that it was Ivy Blue Carter, but later said it was Blue Ivy Carter.

According to the News, Beyonce checked into the hospital under the name "Ingrid Jackson" and rented out the entire fourth floor for an eye-popping $1.3 million.

Then Saturday night, people were spotted bringing takeout and wine into the hospital, where security was tight, the News said.

Around 11 p.m., the floor was locked down, the report said.

News of the birth traveled quickly around Twitterverse.

"Congrats to my good friends Beyonce and Jay-Z," tweeted hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons.

And actress Gwyneth Paltrow wrote: "Welcome to the world Blue! We love you already."

A rep for Beyonce did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

A represenative for the hospital, Ann Silverman, declined comment about whether Beyonce was a patient or had given birth.
