MANHATTAN SUPREME COURT — A Wu-Tang Clan producer who fled from the courthouse after his arraignment last Wednesday for sexually assaulting a 43-year-old woman in Harlem has been indicted, prosecutors said.

Derrick Harris, 41, is charged with sexually assaulting, beating and trying to rape a woman inside his West 120th Street apartment on Sept. 12. After his early morning arraignment Wednesday, he slipped out of NYPD custody as the officers were preparing to hand him off to the Department of Correction at about 1:15 a.m., according to court papers.

Harris was arrested at his apartment about five hours later as police helicopters and a swarm of cops descended on the neighborhood, residents told DNAinfo.com.

After his second arrest, he was ordered held without bail by a Manhattan judge.

Harris, also known by his rap name "True Master" is a part of the Wu-Tang Clan family and has worked with Method Man, Ol' Dirty Bastard and other well-known rap artists.

The victim, who reported the May 12 assault, told authorities said Harris dragged her back into his apartment by her hair when she tried to escape through his bathroom window.

His attorney declined to comment. Harris was not present in court.
