Manhattan — Miami Heat got an icy reception at Madison Square Garden Friday as LeBron James got a taste of Knicks fans' passion.
The superstar baller who scorned New York for South Beach was booed even before he took the floor.
The biggest jeers came as he was introduced — with Spike Lee acting as the Knicks' biggest cheerleader, heckling LeBron from the sidelines.
"I think he's scared to be in New York," diehard fan Billy Loesch told the Daily News.
"We have Amer'e (Stoudemire) and we're going to get (New Orleans star) Chris Paul. We'll be the best team."
The fans ripped LeBron every time he touched the ball, though the hostility didn't seem to affect the star's game.
He scored his 30th triple double — 32 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists — and took Heat to a 113-91 win.
The night before the Madison Square Garden faceoff, LeBron and Stoudemire had partied together at exclusive Chelsea club 10ak.
The Knicks had hoped to sign LeBron this summer, before he snubbed them to head to Miami.
