MANHATTAN — "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" star Kathryn Erbe took the stand on Wednesday in the trial of a man accused of stalking her for years, according to reports.

Prosecutors said Charles Nagel, 36, had been stalking the star since 2008 when he tried to forcibly hug Erbe as she shot a scene in Upper Manhattan, the Daily News reported.

"It all made me very upset and worried. I just felt he was obsessed," Erbe testified in Brooklyn Federal Court, according to the Associated Press. "I got a very bad feeling from him."

The actress plays Detective Alex Eames on the popular NBC crime drama.

Prosecutors described Nagel as no "ordinary fan" during opening arguments on Tuesday, according to the paper.

"What he thought he was entitled to was a physical connection; he wanted to touch her," Assistant US Attorney Allon Lifshitz said, the News reported.

Nagel allegedly sent the star's brother and her 14-year-old daughter Facebook messages about Erbe, the New York Post reported.

He also posted messages on his MySpace page about the star, which said things like: "I get mad if I read about another guy loving her," and "She's pretending she's better and the shower of love will never stop coming," prosecutors said, according to the News.

Nagle has pleaded not guilty and his attorney insists the man, who goes by the name Chaz Rose, is a budding songwriter who was just trying to get Erbe's help promoting his career, the paper reported.
