MANHATTAN — Former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer and Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Kathleen Parker announced the name of their upcoming CNN show Tuesday, in a lively teaser trailer featuring the two co-hosts jovially arguing over show titles.
After suggesting "Spitzer Parker," the former governor conceded to his co-host's only slightly different suggestion — "Parker Spitzer."
"How about the Spitzer Factor?'" Parker joked, before the two settled on "Parker Spitzer."
The panel show will debut Oct. 4 and, much like the trailer, the name suggests the two will star equally, The Huffington Post suggested.
In addition to equal airtime, it's reported the duo will get equal pay — more than $500,000 a piece. In comparison, Larry King recently signed a contract with CNN for $3 million, according to the New York Post.
