MANHATTAN — Lady Gaga was so thrilled with a judge's ruling overturning California's ban on gay marriage that she began making new music upon hearing the news, according to tweets the pop diva sent out Wednesday night.

"At the moments notice of PROP 8 DEATH I instantly began to write music. BUBBLE DREAMS FOREVER! FULL EQUALITY! THIS IS JUST THE BEGININNG!," she said in a tweet.

A federal judge in California ruled Wednesday that Prop 8, a voter-enacted law prohibiting gay marriage in California, was unconstitutional.

"REJOICE and CELEBRATE gay communities and straight all over the world. Our voices are being heard! Loud! SCREAM LOUD AMERICANOS!," Gaga tweeted shortly after the decision was announced.
