MANHATTAN SUPREME COURT — A woman caught on surveillance abusing a 9-pound dog named "Sparky" pleaded guilty to a violation Wednesday and agreed to complete 12 weeks of anger management classes and 100 hours of community service.

Tiara Davis, 31, was caught on video at the Grant Houses in Morningside Heights in January kicking Sparky and dragging the Pomeranian by its leash.

Davis will only serve jail time — a maximum of 15 days — if she violates the terms of her agreement.

She was charged with animal abuse but pleaded guilty to a lesser charge Wednesday. As part of her plea, Davis promised she would not own another pet for at least five years. The ASPCA, which has been monitoring the case, will ensure that she does not, prosecutors said.

The admitted dog abuser would not comment outside of the courtroom.

She was one of two individuals recorded that month assaulting a dog in an elevator at the same housing project.

Chris Grant, who was 21 at the time of his arrest, was caught brutalizing his girlfriend's Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix on Jan. 2, the week before Davis' incident.
