MANHATTAN — Mariah Carey may have stepped into a deep pile of doggy doo-doo.
A veterinarian filed suit in a Manhattan court claiming the pop-star owes her thousands of dollars for work on her pups, the New York Post reported.
Dr. Cindy Bressler is asking for $29,559 plus legal fees, said the Post.
According to her website, Bressler opened a House Call veterinarian practice in 2003 with a clientele that “includes prominent New Yorkers and celebrity clients.”
A rep for Carey told the Post that Carey’s legal team was unaware of the suit.
Carey, 40, has sold more than 50 million albums during her long career. Her three dogs, Cha Cha, Jackie Lambchops and JJ are often mentioned in her Twitter feed.
“Also..breaking news...ChaCha &JJ's newest puppy now has a (Drum roll pls) name!.... Jackie Lambchops(said like Tony Soprano)” she tweeted on June 20.
