MANHATTAN — E*Trade wants the $100 million case Lindsay Lohan filed against them moved from Long Island to Manhattan, where their headquarters are located, a company spokeswoman said.

The troubled starlet, whose hard-partying has gotten her into legal trouble in the past and who is reportedly required to wear an alcohol-monitoring bracelet, sued the online trading company for allegedly defaming her when one of their Super Bowl ads featured a "milkaholic" baby named Lindsay.

“With the E*TRADE Baby, our advertising campaign is meant to be witty and memorable, while effectively communicating the powerful investing tools and services offered by E*TRADE," read a statement released by E*Trade when news of Lohan's case became public.

"We believe the claims are without merit and we intend to defend ourselves vigorously in this case.”

The suit was filed in Long Island, where Lohan's mother lives, but E*Trade said that since the actress clearly lives in Los Angeles, the case should be moved to Manhattan where their company is located.

Oral arguments were heard Tuesday morning in the motion to change venues.

"It's where she grew up," said Lohan's lawyer, Stephanie Ovadia, in defense of the actress' use of her mom's Long Island address in the civil suit, according to the New York Post.

But E*Trade's lawyer, Howard Rubin, said that Lohan has a California license and rents an apartment there, and "she really lives in Los Angeles," the Post reported.

The company has also filed a motion to dismiss the case entirely.
