MANHATTAN — A saxophone signed by former President Bill Clinton was seized from the home of Norman Hsu, the Ponzi-scheming Democratic fundraiser, and will be auctioned off by U.S. Marshals, according to an order filed with the Southern District court on Monday.

The autographed instrument was confiscated from Hsu's former apartment at 160 Wooster St. in SoHo, along with "various bottles of wine and champagne," the order said.

Hsu, who pleaded guilty to 10 counts of fraud and was convicted of four others in May 2009, was sentenced to 24 years in prison.

His case received widespread media attention, when it was discovered that he had connections to approximately $850,000 in donations to Hillary Clinton's 2008 Presidential campaign.

Norman Hsu, a formerly prominent Democratic fundraiser, is now serving 24 years in prison for his role in a $50 million ponzi scheme.

The money was later returned to the donors, who had been directed and, in some cases, paid by Hsu to make the contributions, according to the New York Times.
