Reporter/Producer @lindsay_anne81 Contact

Lindsay Armstrong is a reporter/producer covering Washington Heights and Inwood.

She joined DNAinfo New York after graduating from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism, where she focused on urban reporting. While in school, Lindsay spent months investigating dilapidated apartment buildings in the Bronx and the role of court-appointed lawyers in foreclosure cases, which earned her a cover story at the Riverdale Press.

Her work has also been featured at NY1, MetroFocus, Babble.com and in the New York Daily News.

Before transitioning into journalism, Lindsay spent several years teaching middle school English in Washington Heights and the Bronx as a New York City Teaching Fellow. She is especially interested in reporting on education and youth issues.

In addition to her role at DNAinfo, Lindsay serves as a multimedia fellow for Baruch College’s undergraduate journalism department.

Fun Fact: Lindsay has traveled to several countries, including Australia, where she spent two weeks living in a tent with a baby kangaroo.
