CROWN HEIGHTS — A woman was hospitalized after a guest in her home stabbed her in the arm when she told him and others hanging out to leave, police said.

The 36-year-old woman told police she was having a gathering at her Sterling Street apartment on April 1 when, around 4 a.m., she told her guests it was time to go.

One of the people there, a 20-year-old man, said he did not want to leave and when she held open the door, he took out a black-handled knife from his back pocket and stabbed the woman three times in her left arm, then fled.

The woman was treated for her wounds at Kings County Hospital. The suspect has not yet been identified.
