BROOKLYN — A man was punched and slashed by a man and woman on a Q train subway platform Sunday morning, police said.

The 21-year-old man was standing in the Prospect Park station around 5:15 a.m. when an unidentified man approached, exchanged a few words, then punched him, police said.

A woman snuck up behind the victim as he tried to fight off his attacker and began to slash him, according to police. The duo fled the scene without taking any of their victim’s possessions.

The victim took himself to an area hospital where he was treated for cuts to his head, face, chest and hands, police said.

It is unclear whether the man knew his attackers, but the investigation is ongoing, police said.

Police describe the man as about 6 feet tall, slightly bald, around 35 years old and last seen wearing a light blue shirt and black pants.

His accomplice was a woman around 25 years old, weighing about 150 pounds, who wore a black sweatshirt and pajama pants.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
