BROOKLYN — A knife wielding robbery crew targeted three baby boutiques in Park Slope and Carroll Gardens stealing cash and personal valuables from employees over the last four weeks, police said Friday afternoon.

In all of the incidents, a man entered the store with a knife and threatened the store workers — who were all women between 25 and 27 years of age — and fled the location with money from the cash register and victims' cell phones and personal property. The other man stood watch outside the store while the robbery took place, according to police.

The duo first menaced a 27-year-old woman at Area Play, located at 331 Smith St. near President Street in Carroll Gardens on April 8 at about 5:10 p.m. They fled with $300, a cell phone and credit cards, police said.

The employee at Area Play quit her job after the robbery, a store worker said Friday.

Almost three weeks later on April 28 at about 4:45 p.m., the robbers hit Pink Olive, a gift shop that sells baby clothes and toys as well as home goods, stationery and accessories.

A 25-year-old woman was working in the shop during the robbery, and the crew made away with $841, a cell phone and credit cards.

Earlier this week, DNAinfo first reported the third robbery incident on May 3 at about 12:25 p.m.

Tiny Brooklyn, a baby shop at 493 Court St. was robbed of $245, a cell phone and credit cards after a 27-year-old shop worker was forced into a bathroom at knifepoint.

The NYPD has released photos of the men wanted in connection to the incidents.
