CORONA — The 15-year-old girl who crawled under the 7 train tracks after being pushed off the platform said she's not brave for saving herself, but "just lucky."

Xinyi Huang, 15, was pushed from behind Saturday night by George Pautt at the 103rd Street-Corona Plaza subway station, police said.

As the Manhattan-bound 7 train was approaching, Huang wedged herself between the platform and the train's wheels.

"I wasn't really thinking of anything," she said Friday near her house, just blocks from the train station.

She was alone while waiting for the 7 train to head into Manhattan at around 8:40 p.m.

"I was just standing there," she said, when Pautt, 38, pushed her from behind as the train was coming, according to Huang and the police.

He then fled the platform, running from the station.

The operator of the 7 train hit the emergency brakes after seeing Huang on the tracks, and she was rescued by the FDNY.

She brushed off any suggestion that her quick-thinking was an act of heroics.

"I'm not brave, I'm just lucky," she said.

She had a few bruises from the push, but returned to her high school on Wednesday, where she's a freshman.

Pautt was arrested late Thursday and faces second-degree attempted murder charges, police said.

Huang said she's been busy catching up on homework for the school she missed and hoped her alleged attacker gets punished.

"He should be punished, or else there might be another person" pushed, she said.
