BOERUM HILL — There's a block on Bergen Street that's starting to look a lot like SoHo.

Designer handbag label Clare V. has opened its first Brooklyn location at 57 Bergen St. between Smith Street and Boerum Place, a strip that's already home to Australian skincare company Aesop, Invisible Dog Art Center and freelancer-friendly cafe 61 Local

Eyewear brand Warby Parker recently announced plans to also open a store on the little block.

Clare V. is known for its high-end totes, clutches, shoulder bags and accessories as well as T-shirts emblazoned with French words and phrases such as "Bourgeoisie Sauvage" for $110 and "Oui" for $99.

The Boerum Hill boutique also carries an exclusive clutch with the shop's address on it.

The brand was created by Clare Vivier, who, while working as a journalist, decided to create her own line of "functional yet stylish laptop cases," according to the website.

The luxury handbag company has its flagship location in Los Angeles as well as locations in West Hollywood, Santa Monica and Nolita in New York City.

The Bergen Street shop was designed by Kate McCollough to showcase Clare V's "French-meets-Cali vibe," a spokeswoman said.

The store is open Monday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
