FORT GREENE — How would you make Brooklyn better?

New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer is looking for input from Brooklyn residents about the state of the borough at a Dec. 3 meeting hosted at the Brooklyn Music School in Fort Greene.

“The Brooklyn town hall will be a great opportunity to hold an open dialogue on the problems and issues that all New Yorkers face on a day-to-day basis and a chance to discuss real solutions,” Stringer said in a statement.

“The event will be open to all, unfiltered, with no topic too big — or too small — to raise.”

The comptroller, who is responsible for reviewing and auditing city agencies, held his last town hall on the Upper West Side earlier this month. Comments included complaints about CitiBike locations taking away valuable parking spots.

The comptroller is also touring the boroughs for a series of “Red Tape Commission” meetings, offering tips for cutting through the "red tape" that can stifle small businesses. The most recent was held Monday night on Staten Island, with the final one scheduled for Dec. 10 in Manhattan.

The Brooklyn town hall will take place Thursday, Dec. 3 at 126 St. Felix Street, off the Atlantic Ave./Barclays Center subway stop. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the event will run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
