CORONA — An annual festival flying into Queens for the first time in its 18-year history has fallen prey to this weekend's wet weather.

Raptor Fest, which was scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 4 at Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, has been canceled, the Parks Department said.

The festival, sponsored by the Urban Park Rangers, has been held in parks around the city for years but was coming to Queens for the first time.

It will not be rescheduled, the Parks Department said.
