Hannibal Buress is joining the lineup for the 2015 New York Comedy Festival, and is taking the event to Brooklyn.

Buress, the star of Comedy Central's "Why? With Hannibal Buress," will take the stage at Brooklyn's Kings Theatre Nov. 13 for "Comedy Central Live in Brooklyn," Page Six reports. The stand-up show will also feature Nick Kroll, John Mulaney and Natasha Leggero.

In its 12th year, the New York Comedy Festival has scheduled most of its shows in venues like Carnegie Hall and the 92nd Street Y in Manhattan.

Kings Theatre, a historic 3,000-seat performance center, reopened in January after a two-year-long, $95 million restoration funded by the city and private investors.

Other just-announced events added to the festival program starting Nov. 10 include a panel discussion with the writers of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," another with the team behind "The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore" and the host himself, and a talk with ever-belligerent comedian Lewis Black.
