MARBLE HILL — The NYPD rescued an emotionally-disturbed man threatening to leap from the Broadway Bridge Friday afternoon, police said.
The NYPD Special Operations unit tweeted out photos of the shirtless man clinging to the bridge, which connects Manhattan and The Bronx, just before 12:30 p.m.
Emergency Service Unit officers rescued him and took him into custody without incident about 30 minutes later, the NYPD said.
